Tammy J. LaBello was born in October of 1983 in Albany, New York. She was the only daughter of Tina and Donald Sr. And she was the younger sister of Donnie Jr. (11 months apart). She was a granddaughter of Patsy and Hazel LaBello & of Lynn and Warren Stanton Sr. Tammy was the youngest of 15 LaBello grandchildren and the fourth oldest of the Stanton grandchildren.
In July of 1987, Tammy contracted Meningitis from swimming at a local public pool. She contracted the more severe form of the illness, Meningococcus. The illness attacked her brain and Tammy was pronounced brain-dead. After approximately a week she went to serve God as an angel. Her brain was donated to help futher research of Meningitis.
Tammy was laid to rest at a cemetery in Colonie, New York. She was buried within a hundred yards of her Aunt Tammy, Tina's twin sister, who past away in 1974 at the age of 10. Tammy M. Stanton past away after being hit by a car.
It has been more than twenty years since Tammy past away, but the pain has never gone away. Not a day goes by that we don't think about her. She will always be our little angel and we'll always love and miss her. We know she is up in heaven watching over us.
